Port Forecast Alert Threshold

■ KHARG ISLAND, Iran

Benign weather conditions are expected today at Kharg Island, with wind and wave parameters remaining very low and well below all alert thresholds.
Wind: Sustained wind speeds remain light throughout the period, starting around 5 kts and reaching a maximum of approximately 11 kts in the late afternoon.
Gust: Wind gusts are forecast to peak at roughly 17 kts around 15:00 LT, staying significantly below the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold.
Wave: Significant wave heights remain exceptionally low and stable, generally fluctuating around 0.2m to 0.3m, far below the 2.5m Caution level.
■ AL SHAHEEN, Qatar

Weather conditions in Al Shaheen will remain moderate, starting slightly elevated in the early morning before easing midday and rising slightly again in the evening, with no alerts expected.
Wind: Wind speeds will start near 17 kts at 03:00 LT, dip to around 9 kts by midday, and increase back to 15 kts in the evening, remaining clear of the 20 kts Yellow Caution threshold.
Gust: Early morning gusts will reach up to 25 kts before subsiding midday and peaking again at 22 kts by 21:00 LT, remaining comfortably below the 30 kts Yellow Caution mark.
Wave: Significant wave heights follow a similar pattern, beginning at 1.6m early in the morning, subsiding to 0.9m by midday, and returning to 1.4m by the evening.
■ LARAK ISLAND, Iran

The forecast at Larak Island indicates calm conditions throughout the morning, followed by a mild increase in wind and waves during the afternoon and evening, though all metrics remain well below alert thresholds.
Wind: Sustained winds are exceptionally light in the morning (dipping down to roughly 2 kts) before steadily climbing to a peak of 14 kts at 21:00 LT.
Gust: Wind gusts will mirror the sustained winds, staying below 10 kts early in the day and increasing through the afternoon to reach a maximum of 20 kts by 21:00 LT.
Wave: Significant wave heights are nearly flat at 0.2m through the morning, rising to a modest peak of 0.8m during the late afternoon and evening hours.
