Wind: Winds build from 11 kts at 05:00 LT to a peak of 16 kts between 11:00–14:00 LT before easing to 14 kts through the evening and ticking back up to 15 kts by 23:00 LT.
Gust: Gusts climb from 17 kts at 05:00 LT to a peak of 24 kts between 11:00–14:00 LT before easing to 21 kts through the evening and rising slightly to 23 kts by 23:00 LT.
Wave: Significant wave height exceeds the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold throughout the entire period, building from 3.2 m at 05:00 LT and reaching the 3.5 m Red Warning threshold at 13:00–14:00 LT, before easing slightly and holding around 3.4 m for the remainder of the day.
■ COLOMBO, Sri Lanka
Winds and gusts remain moderate and well below alert thresholds throughout the day, while waves open at the 3.5 m Red Warning threshold in the early morning before easing slightly and holding at elevated Yellow Caution levels for the remainder of the day.
Wind: Winds hold steady at 17 kts from 05:00–09:00 LT before easing gradually to 14 kts by 22:00–23:00 LT.
Gust: Gusts start at 26 kts from 05:00–08:00 LT and ease steadily to 22 kts by 16:00–18:00 LT, holding in that range through the evening.
Wave: Significant wave height reaches the 3.5 m Red Warning threshold from 05:00–09:00 LT, before easing slightly and holding around 3.4 m for most of the remaining day — settling to 3.3 m by 22:00–23:00 LT — while staying above the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold throughout the entire period.
■ NEW MANGALORE, India
Winds and gusts remain moderate and well below alert thresholds throughout the day, while waves stay elevated above the Yellow Caution level for the entire period, building gently to a peak in the late afternoon.
Wind: Winds ease from 15 kts at 05:00 LT to a low of 13 kts around 10:00–12:00 LT, then build to a peak of 17 kts at 17:00 LT before tapering off to 12 kts by 23:00 LT.
Gust: Gusts dip from 23 kts at 05:00 LT to a low of 19 kts at 11:00 LT, then climb to a peak of 25 kts at 17:00 LT before easing back to 18 kts by 23:00 LT.
Wave: Significant wave height exceeds the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold throughout the entire period, holding around 3.1 m through midday before building to a peak of 3.3 m between 16:00–18:00 LT and easing back to 3.1 m by 22:00–23:00 LT.
