■ DUQM, Oman
Winds and gusts build overnight, reaching the Yellow Caution threshold through the morning hours before easing around midday, then climbing again to reach the threshold a second time in the evening. Waves stay flat and steady all day.
Wind: Winds hold at 20 kts from 04:00–07:00 LT, right at the Yellow Caution threshold, before easing to a low of 13 kts by 10:00–11:00 LT, then gradually building back up to reach 20 kts again by 19:00–20:00 LT and settling around 19 kts through 23:00 LT.
Gust: Gusts climb to 30 kts from 04:00–07:00 LT, right at the Yellow Caution threshold, drop to a low of 19 kts at 10:00 LT, then strengthen again to reach 30 kts by 19:00–20:00 LT before easing slightly to 29 kts through 23:00 LT.
Wave: Significant wave height holds steady at 1.3 m from 04:00–14:00 LT before edging up slightly to 1.4 m for the remainder of the period through 23:00 LT.
■ HAMBANTOTA, Sri Lanka
Winds, gusts, and waves all build through the morning, briefly push past Yellow Caution levels around midday into the afternoon before easing back through the evening.
Wind: Winds climb steadily from 11 kts at 05:00 LT. Exceeding the 20 kts Yellow Caution threshold from 12:00–15:00 LT, with the peak of 21 kts at 14:00 LT. Wind then ease back to 12 kts by 23:00 LT.
Gust: Gusts build from 16 kts at 05:00 LT, reach 30 kts at 12:00–13:00 LT, then peak at 31 kts at 14:00 LT, exceeding the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold, before subsiding to 18 kts by 23:00 LT.
Wave: Significant wave height rises from 1.6 m at 05:00 LT, reaching the Yellow Caution threshold from 11:00–17:00 LT with a peak of 2.8 m at 14:00 LT, before easing to 2.3 m by 20:00–23:00 LT.
■ REDI, India
Winds and gusts stay well below caution levels throughout the day, easing to their lowest in the evening. Waves hold at or above the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold all day, with a brief peak in the afternoon.
Wind: Winds hold steady around 14–15 kts through the morning, peak at 18 kts at 13:00 LT, then ease to a low of 12 kts by 19:00–20:00 LT before climbing back to 15 kts by 23:00 LT.
Gust: Gusts hold around 21 kts through the morning, build to a peak of 27 kts at 14:00 LT, then subside to a low of 19 kts by 19:00–20:00 LT before recovering slightly to 22 kts by 23:00 LT.
Wave: Significant wave height holds at the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold from 05:00 LT onward, rising further to a peak of 2.8 m at 14:00 LT, then settling back to 2.5 m by 19:00–21:00 LT before ticking up slightly to 2.6 m by 22:00–23:00 LT, remaining at or above caution levels throughout the day.
