Port Forecast Alert Threshold

■ FATEH TERMINAL, United Arab Emirates

The primary weather concerns for Fateh Terminal today are increasing wind speeds, gusts, and building wave heights.

Peak Wind Advisory: Winds are forecast to exceed the Yellow Caution threshold (> 20 kts) from approximately 15:00 LT on April 14, peaking at 22 kts around 16:00–20:00 LT. Conditions are expected to remain below the Red Warning threshold (> 30 kts) throughout the forecast period.

Peak Gust Advisory: Wind gusts represent a key concern for the latter half of the forecast. Gusts are forecast to trigger a Yellow Caution status (> 30 kts) from approximately 15:00 LT on April 14 onward, peaking at 34 kts. Gusts are expected to remain just below the Red Warning threshold (> 45 kts) throughout the period.

Wave Conditions: Significant wave heights build steadily throughout the forecast period, rising to a peak of 3.0m, exceeding the Caution threshold (> 2.5m) from approximately 16:00 LT on April 14.

■ FUJAIRAH (AL-FUJAIRAH), United Arab Emirates

The primary weather concern for FUJAIRAH today is a significant wind and gust event during the daytime hours of April 14.

Peak Wind Advisory: Winds are forecast to intensify from the morning hours of April 14, reaching a Yellow Caution status (> 20 kts) from approximately 12:00 LT and peaking at approximately 25 kts and 27 kts between 13:00 and 16:00 LT.

Peak Gust Warning: Wind gusts represent the primary hazard during this event. Gusts are forecast to trigger a Yellow Caution status (> 30 kts) from approximately 13:00 LT on April 14, peaking at 37 kts.

Wave Conditions: Significant wave heights remain stable and well below the Caution (> 2.5m) and Warning (> 3.5m) thresholds throughout the forecast period, peaking at only 0.5m.

■ AL SHAHEEN TERMINAL, QATAR

The primary weather concerns for Al Shaheen Terminal are persistent elevated winds and a progressive wave build-up throughout the forecast period on April 13–14.

Peak Wind Advisory: Winds are forecast to reach a Yellow Caution status (> 20 kts) from approximately 10:00 LT on April 14.

Peak Gust Advisory: Wind gusts are forecast to escalate steadily throughout the period. Gusts will reach the Yellow Caution threshold (> 30 kts) from approximately 11:00 LT on April 14.

Wave Conditions: Significant wave heights are forecast to build steadily throughout the period, rising from 1.2m at the start of the forecast to 2.5m towards the end of the forecast, reaching the Yellow Caution threshold (> 2.5m).
