Port Forecast Alert Threshold

■ SAFAGA, Egypt

Moderate winds expected, peaking around midday before easing through the evening. Waves peak in the morning and gradually subside. All parameters remain below alert thresholds.

Wind: Winds range from 15–19 kts, peaking at 19 kts at 12:00 LT before easing to 9 kts by 21:00 LT.

Gust: Gusts range from 14–29 kts, peaking at 29 kts at 12:00 LT before dropping to 14 kts by 21:00 LT. All values remain below the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold, though the midday peak approaches it closely.

Wave: Waves range from 1.0–2.2 m, peaking at 2.2 m at 09:00–10:00 LT before declining to 1.0 m by 20:00 LT.

■ WADI FEIRAN, Egypt

Moderate to fresh winds expected, peaking around midday before easing in the evening. Both wind speeds and gusts will briefly exceed their respective Yellow Caution thresholds around midday. Waves remain low and steadily decrease throughout the day, well below caution levels.

Wind: Winds start at 20 kts at 03:00 LT, easing slightly before peaking at 21 kts at 12:00–13:00 LT, just exceeding the 20 kts Yellow Caution threshold. Conditions ease through the afternoon, dropping to 9 kts by 22:00 LT.

Gust: Gusts start elevated at 31 kts at 03:00 LT, exceeding the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold, and briefly dip below through the morning before returning to 31 kts at 12:00–13:00 LT. Gusts then ease steadily, falling to 14 kts by 22:00 LT.

Wave: Waves start at 1.4 m at 03:00 LT, peaking at 1.5 m at 05:00–07:00 LT before steadily declining to 0.7 m by 17:00 LT, remaining well below the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold throughout.

■ MINA AL ZOUR, Kuwait

Light winds build throughout, peaking at 15:00 LT. Both wind and gusts briefly exceed their respective Yellow Caution thresholds around 15:00 LT. Waves peak at 15:00 LT but remain below caution levels throughout.

Wind: Start at 10 kts at 03:00 LT, building through the day to a peak of 22 kts at 15:00 LT, briefly exceeding the 20 kts Yellow Caution threshold. Winds then ease to 9 kts by 20:00 LT.

Gust: Start at 15 kts at 03:00 LT, increasing to a peak of 32 kts at 15:00 LT, exceeding the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold. Gusts remain elevated above 25 kts between 14:00–18:00 LT before dropping to 13 kts by 20:00 LT.

Wave: Start at 0.9 m at 03:00 LT, building to a peak of 2.2 m at 15:00 LT before easing to 0.9 m by 20:00 LT, remaining below the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold throughout.
