Port Forecast Alert Threshold

■ REDI, India

Winds and gusts remain above their respective Yellow Caution thresholds for the entire period, with gusts peaking at 40 kts at 14:30 LT. Significant wave height continues well above the 3.5 m Red Warning threshold throughout July 7.

Wind: Winds remain above the 20 kts Yellow Caution threshold throughout, holding at 24 kts for much of the period before climbing to a peak of 27 kts at 14:30 LT and settling back to 24 kts by 04:30 LT.

Gust: Gusts exceed the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold for the entire period, ranging from 35 kts at 06:30–10:30 LT and 19:30–21:30 LT before surging to a peak of 40 kts at 14:30 LT, then easing to 36 kts by 04:30 LT.

Significant wave height remains above the 3.5 m Red Warning threshold throughout the entire period, ranging from 5.8 m at 19:30–21:30 LT and peaking at 6.0 m at 13:30–15:30 LT and again at 01:30–04:30 LT.

■ MULDWARKA, India

Winds and gusts remain below alert thresholds throughout July 7, easing to a mid-period minimum before rebuilding through the night. Significant wave height exceeds the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold for the entire period.

Wind: Winds hold at 15–17 kts from 05:30–15:30 LT before easing to a minimum of 12 kts at 19:30–20:30 LT, then climbing to a peak of 19 kts by 02:30–03:30 LT.

Gust: Gusts range from 23–25 kts through 15:30 LT before dropping to a minimum of 18 kts at 19:30–20:30 LT, then building to a peak of 28 kts by 02:30–03:30 LT.

Significant wave height remains above the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold throughout the entire period, starting at 2.8 m at 05:30–09:30 LT before easing to 2.6 m at 11:30–20:30 LT, then recovering to 2.8 m from 23:30–04:30 LT.

■ DUQM, Oman

Winds ease to a morning minimum before building steadily through the afternoon, with both wind and gusts exceeding their respective Yellow Caution thresholds from 16:00 LT through 02:00 LT. Waves remain low throughout July 7.

Wind: Winds ease from 16 kts at 04:00 LT to a minimum of 13 kts at 07:00–08:00 LT before climbing steadily, exceeding the 20 kts Yellow Caution threshold from 16:00 LT and peaking at 23 kts at 01:00 LT. Winds then drop back below the threshold by 03:00 LT.

Gust: Gusts drop from 23 kts at 04:00 LT to a minimum of 19 kts at 07:00 LT before strengthening, exceeding the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold from 16:00 LT and peaking at 35 kts at 01:00 LT. Gusts then ease to 26 kts by 03:00 LT.

Significant wave height holds at 1.8 m from 04:00–15:00 LT before rising to 1.9 m from 18:00 LT and holding through 03:00 LT.
