Port Forecast Alert Threshold

■ REDI, India

Winds and gusts exceed Yellow Caution levels throughout most of July 31, with significant wave height breaching the Red Warning threshold for the entire period.

Wind: Winds start at 23 kts at 05:30 LT, exceeding the 20 kts Yellow Caution threshold, and peak at 24 kts at 07:30–08:30 LT. They ease to 20 kts at 01:30–03:30 LT before climbing back above the threshold to 21 kts by 04:30 LT.

Gust: Gusts open at 34 kts at 05:30 LT, exceeding the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold, and peak at 36 kts at 08:30 LT. They ease below the threshold at 01:30–03:30 LT before recovering to 31 kts by 04:30 LT.

Wave: Significant wave height exceeds the 3.5 m Red Warning threshold throughout July 31, starting at 4.6 m at 05:30 LT, climbing to a peak of 5.0 m at 19:30–21:30 LT, and holding at 4.9 m through 04:30 LT.

■ PORBANDAR, India

Winds and gusts remain below alert thresholds throughout July 31. Waves stay below Yellow Caution for most of the period, briefly exceeding it toward the end as conditions build.

Wind: Winds start at 11 kts at 05:30 LT and gradually build to 17 kts by 16:30–20:30 LT before easing to 12 kts at 23:30 LT. Winds then climb again to 18 kts by 04:30 LT.

Gust: Gusts start at 17 kts at 05:30 LT, building to 26 kts from 17:30–20:30 LT before dropping to 18 kts at 23:30 LT. Gusts recover to 27 kts by 04:30 LT.

Wave: Significant wave height holds at 2.0–2.2 m from 05:30 to 20:30 LT before building steadily, exceeding the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold at 03:30 LT and reaching 2.8 m by 04:30 LT.

■ DUQM, Oman

Winds and gusts remain below alert thresholds through the morning before building above Yellow Caution levels in the afternoon and easing back through the night. Waves remain well below alert thresholds throughout July 31.

Wind: Winds ease from 20 kts at 04:00 LT to a low of 16 kts at 10:00–11:00 LT before climbing above the 20 kts Yellow Caution threshold from 17:00 LT, peaking at 23 kts at 19:00–20:00 LT. Winds then subside below the threshold by 01:00 LT.

Gust: Gusts drop from 29 kts at 04:00 LT to a low of 24 kts at 10:00 LT before building above the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold from 17:00 LT, peaking at 34 kts at 19:00–22:00 LT. Gusts ease below the threshold by 01:00 LT.

Wave: Significant wave height holds steadily between 1.7–1.9 m throughout July 31, remaining well below alert thresholds.
