Gust: Gusts start at 11 kts at 04:00 and 06:00 LT, strengthening to a peak of 39 kts at 15:00 LT, exceeding the 30 kts Yellow Caution threshold between 12:00–16:00 LT, before dropping to 11 kts by 20:00 LT.
Wave: Significant wave height starts at 1.8 m at 03:00–04:00 LT and builds to a peak of 3.4 m at 14:00 LT, exceeding the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold between 11:00–16:00 LT, before easing to 2.0 m by 20:00 LT.
■ MORMUGAO, India

A quiet day for wind and gusts on August 18, both remaining well within safe operating limits throughout, while waves build steadily and briefly move into cautionary territory during the afternoon and evening.
Wind: 10m winds hold in a narrow 9–13 kts band, easing to 9 kts at 05:00, 06:00, and 08:00 LT before climbing to a peak of 13 kts at 13:00–14:00 LT and settling back to 10–11 kts through the evening.
Gust: Gusts track closely with sustained winds, ranging 14–19 kts, bottoming out at 14 kts at 05:00–06:00 LT and topping out at 19 kts at 13:00–14:00 LT before tapering to 16–17 kts overnight.
Wave: Significant wave height starts at 2.4 m at 05:00–06:00 LT and gradually builds through the day, exceeding the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold from 13:00 LT onward, reaching a peak of 2.7 m between 21:00–23:00 LT.
■ REDI, India

Winds and gusts stay light and well within safe limits through August 18, ticking up slightly by the end of the day, while significant wave height remains elevated in Yellow Caution territory across the entire period.
Wind: 10m winds ease to 11 kts between 17:00–20:00 LT before climbing to a peak of 15 kts at 23:00 LT.
Gust: Gusts dip to 16 kts at 19:00 LT and build steadily to a peak of 22 kts at 23:00 LT.
Wave: Significant wave height holds around 2.6 m from 05:00 through 20:00 LT, exceeding the 2.5 m Yellow Caution threshold for the entire day, before climbing to a peak of 2.9 m at 23:00 LT.
